Ingredient details

Naturally derived wax ester with high melting point. Excellent structuring and gelling capacity. It improves stick strength and break resistance due to its crystalline characteristic.

A high melting point plasticizer wax improves stability, compatibility, and feel of anhydrous systems without affecting structure. Perfect for jelly and squeezable forms. Great film forming and adhesion properties. It can be used as a vegan replacement for beeswax with combination of Kester Wax K82H.

A vegan wax derived from the berries of the Rhus Succedanea/Rhus Verniciflua tree. Low/medium melting point wax. Provides soft/buttery textures, works as a pay-off enhancer for sticks it can improve significantly sensorial characteristics of O/W emulsions.

Features

Shampoo formulation where water is not the main component (as it normally is) to make the product more sustainable. Good cleansing property and nice foam formation.

Procedure

Phase A: Mix the ingredients and reserve it.
Phase B: Melt and mix the waxes of phase B around 95°C. In between heat phase A slightly (maximum 80°C).
Phase C: Put your respiratory PPE and slowly add the ingredient after Phase A and Phase B are completely mixed. When you achieve a dough-like consistency, knead it until you achieve a homogenized dough. Be careful, dough can be hot.
After shape it with a handpress.

Stability Information

Accelerated conditions: Three months at 45°C
