A wax obtained from the berry fruits of the Rhus Succedanea/Rhus Verniciflua tree, referred to as the Japanese sumac tree. This vegetable wax is rich in high content of C16-C18 fatty acid glycerides. Because of the chemical structure of the wax, the wax feels very soft, comparable to the classic emollient, and produces a very soft texture and improves significantly the sensory characteristics of O/W emulsions, and it is also a good additive of oleo gels, lipstick, and mascaras.
