Permulgin 4211 is a hydrogenated microcrystalline wax consisting of isoparaffinic and naphthenic hydrocarbons with carbon chain lengths of ca. C35-C70. Permulgin 4211 is a hard mineral wax of petroleum origin with excellent oil-binding and oil-gelling properties.

In stick formulations, Permulgin 4211 functions as a binder and oil gellant and improves hardness, break resistance, temperature stability, texture, and oil binding.

In emulsion formulations, Permulgin 4211 functions as a consistency regulator, improves emulsion stability, and when used in combination with Castor Wax (Hydrogenated Castor Oil), suppresses crystallisation of this wax.
